DESU TAEM is a sonic explosion, a chaotic family affair, and a relentless pursuit of musical madness. At the helm are Shan and Nick Greene—a father-son duo who decided that the world needed more noise, more riffs, and a lot more punk attitude.
Shan Greene: A 59-year-old rock veteran who’s been headbanging since the '70s. With over 50 years of musical mayhem, Shan has probably listened to 200,000 songs (give or take a few). His philosophy? "Do it now or always wish you had."
Nick Greene: At 25, Nick brings the fresh chaos. A multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer, he grew up surrounded by his dad’s musical tornado and decided to jump in headfirst. Together, they form the heart and soul of DESU TAEM.
It’s the lovechild of classic rock and punk, raised on a diet of metal and a steady stream of sarcasm. Think Black Sabbath meets Led Zeppelin, with a dash of Nirvana, Janes Addiction and a whole lot of "we don’t care what you think." It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s loud.
1 / Infinity: The most recent album, released in May 2025, marks a loud, chaotic crescendo in the band’s musical creativity. It’s packed with straight-up slammers like “Spiderweb Panic” and tracks that’ll make you crack a grin whether you want to or not—looking at you, “Eternal Toilet Paper.” This one’s got everything you need to satisfy that unrelenting DESU TAEM itch.
Is That My Blood: Dropped in October 2024, Is That My Blood is pure Desu Taem chaos. Packed with slammers like “Gotta Slam Dance” and riff-heavy bangers like “Guillotined Again,” this one hits hard and doesn’t let up. Bonus: the T-shirt on the front cover? You can grab it right now in our shop.
More Crap: 19 tracks of pure, unfiltered rock chaos. Highlights include “March of Shadows,” “Swinging on the Gallows,” and “Dance of Shadows and Demons.” It’s like a rollercoaster ride through a haunted house—if the haunted house was on fire.
Rise, O’ Villain: Released in 2024, this 17-track beast dives into darker themes with songs like “From the Depths of the Shadows” and “Symphony of Agony.” It’s heavy, it’s intense, and it might just make you question your life choices.
Narcissist: A visceral introduction to the band’s signature sound—“Narcissist” blends haunting melodies with raw emotion, exploring themes of ego, obsession, and self-destruction that Shan lived through. This debut track set the tone for the band’s dark, introspective storytelling.
The Deceiver: Shan was commisioned by GOD to write this. Driven by aggressive riffs and haunting vocals, “The Deceiver” exposes the layers of betrayal and hidden truths. It's a cathartic anthem for those grappling with manipulation and trust, solidifying the band's place in the modern alt-metal scene.
We’re not here to make friends. We’re here to make noise. We’re here to push boundaries, break rules, and have a damn good time doing it. If you’re looking for perfect harmonies and radio-friendly tunes, you’re in the wrong place. But if you want music that feels like a punch in the face (in the only way possible), welcome to the family.
This isn’t some polished, industry-approved art project. It’s loud. It’s messy. It smells kinda weird. We make the music we want, how we want, and we invite you to slam face-first into the noise with us. No deeper meaning, no secret club—just riffs, chaos, whatever’s left of our sanity, and the trash we leave all over the floor when we're done.
DESU TAEM—where the music is loud, the riffs are heavy, and the sarcasm is always on point.
